VIRTUAL v. IN-PERSON ESTATE PLANNING
How Much Does an Estate Plan Cost?
This is one of the first questions people when they think about estate planning. Regrettably, there is no “standard” answer, as estate planning is not a “one-size fits all solution” for every family, this means that the price for your plan most likely will be different then neighbor’s. Your plan needs to fit your specific needs, desires and situation for it to be effective. Any lawyer who tells you differently, clearly does not know enough about the subject and therefor should not be helping you create your estate plan.
Most people who make price-based decisions, end up spending more money on the back-end, because “form-documents” or “one-size-fits-all” packages usually do not work when they are most needed. If you read the disclaimers on services like “legalzoom” their fine print tells you they are “not a law firm or a substitute for an attorney or law firm.” Moreover, they don’t “provide any kind of advice, explanation, opinion, or recommendation about possible legal rights, (…) options, (…) or strategies”, technically stating that their form-documents are not guaranteed to fit your needs…
“Every family should have the right to spend their money, after tax, as they wish, and not as the government dictates.
Let us extend choice, extend the will to choose and the chance to choose.”
~ Margaret Thatcher

In-Person Estate Planning – Concierge Service Levels
Our In-Person Estate Plans (concierge service levels) range between $2000-8500. These In-person Estate Plans come with comprehensive advice and counsel. This concierge level service is a deeper, more holistic approach in which our attorney coordinate services with other financial professionals, including tax advisors/preparers, investment managers, insurance brokers, real estate professionals and valuation analysts. We recommend this approach to individuals, couples and families who have accumulated moderate (150K+ ) to significant amounts of assets, have young children or who are focused on wealth preservation and asset protection, or are faced with a pressing concern, such as a high net-worth divorce or establishing a guardianship for a disabled loved one.
